China and the EU remain the largest buyers of Cambodian milled rice, with premium jasmine grades leading growth.
Cambodia shipped roughly 430,000 tonnes of milled rice in the first half of the year, with China and the European Union again the largest buyers.
Premium jasmine grades led the growth, supported by better milling capacity and improved contract farming arrangements in Battambang and Prey Veng.
Exporters continue to flag logistics costs and access to working capital as the main brake on faster expansion.
